Flashback to '99: Bradley gains on Gore

Sometimes a cartoon just falls into place so nicely that you can scarcely believe it. When, in the 2000 Democratic Presidential Primary race, Sen. Bill Bradley (a doctor and former macho NBA player) unexpectedly began to make gains on Al Gore (a know-it-all tree-hugger with a girly-man flair, who seemed to think he had the nomination wrapped up from the beginning), the events converged in this scene from Dr. Bradley's fictional clinic for Democratic politicians in need of . . . shall we say, an enhancement?
